Week Two Reporters & News

Good afternoon all!

I hope that all is well with you! I've had a fantastic two weeks of third grade! Thank you for your suggestions, they have really helped me out! I will now be sending home spelling lists and journals that are due at the beginning of each week.

I was having printer problems on Friday, so all the kids copied their words to take home. I will also be sending a list home along with our journal topic on Monday.

The kids will be meeting my maternity sub this week. The doctor has told me that the baby should be born this week, but if not, I will be induced on either the 28th or 29th. Mrs. Deanna Coulston will be coming in on Wednesday to meet with the kids. She is a wonderful teacher and I'm so lucky that she has agreed to step in. I plan to be back after Christmas break.

As for our reporters.....

Student JB reports that this week: We have learned cursive. We have also been continuing our timed tests in math. In reading we are still working on The Stories Jullian Tells. and in science we finished up our unit on Fingerprinting.

Student HA reports that: This week we have learned a lot. In math we are working everyday on Number Corner. We are still reading The Stories Jullian Tells and in science we finished up our fingerprints. She also reports that on Friday we all enjoyed Grandparent's Day.
